Before starting Clickfaktory Web Design, Phil had an extensive run in live music, touring regionally and nationally both as a solo artist and with a pop/rock band. Music and the arts have always been a passion for him, taking up piano at age 4, studying voice at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Kentucky, and acting and performing in various local plays and musicals.

Phil studied marketing at the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University, pursuing finance after college. But his career took an unexpected turn when he used his knowledge of business to help a friend start a masonry company. To promote the new business, Phil knew they needed a website, which he decided to create himself. It was then that he discovered his true business passions: web design and digital marketing.

Outside of Clickfaktory Web Design, not only is Phil still actively writing and recording music for various projects including sync licensing spots, he is also the executive producer, co-creator and co-host of a weekly motivational business podcast, Download Success, which invites business owners and entrepreneurs in for inspirational interviews.

Phil realized the fragility of life and how short life actually is after battling a life-threatening illness. This is why he now focuses his personal and professional time doing the things he loves the most with the people he enjoys working and spending time with. He considers his clients to be among his friends. And, in fact, he's formed lasting relationships with many of them.
